For one of our clients, we are looking for a Diesel Mechanic who is not only mechanically strong, but also has experience with vehicle electronics, such as OBD systems and wiring.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel vehicles and equipment.

Your tasks will include:

Performing maintenance and repairs on diesel engines

Diagnosing and resolving faults (both mechanical and electrical)

Working with OBD diagnostic systems and reading fault codes

Inspecting, repairing, and installing vehicle wiring and electrical systems

Testing and commissioning vehicles after repairs

Contributing to structural improvements and technical solutions

What do you bring?

Experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Millwright

Proven experience working on buses, trucks, and/or commercial vehicles

Knowledge of vehicle electronics, OBD systems, and fault diagnostics

Experience with wiring, reading schematics, and troubleshooting

Strong technical insight and a problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Good command of English and Afrikaans
